Position Overview

We help enterprise customers modernize their ERP landscape by delivering end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) solutions that drive operational excellence, financial visibility, supply chain resilience, and digital transformation.
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Presales Architect to lead technical pre-sales engagements, solution architecture, and ERP transformation initiatives. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Delivery, and Executive Leadership to understand customer business challenges, develop solution strategies, prepare technical proposals, conduct solution demonstrations, estimate project scope, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle.
This is a remote-first role open to candidates based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery workshops to understand customer business processes, ERP challenges, and digital transformation goals.
- Design end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor during pre-sales engagements, RFPs, RFIs, and customer presentations.
- Develop solution blueprints, implementation roadmaps, migration strategies, and digital transformation recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and executive solution presentations for prospective customers.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to qualify opportunities and define winning technical strategies.
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOW), effort estimations, implementation approaches, project assumptions, and risk assessments.
- Design enterprise ERP solutions covering Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Cost Management, Transportation Management, and Asset Management.
- Architect integrations between D365 F&SCM and Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, CRM applications, third-party systems, and legacy ERP platforms.
- Recommend best practices for security, governance, compliance, licensing, and ERP solution architecture.
- Collaborate with Delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
- Provide strategic guidance on Microsoft ecosystem capabilities including Power Platform, Copilot, Azure Integration Services, and AI-powered ERP scenarios.
- Support proposal development, competitive positioning, customer workshops, and executive presentations.
- Mentor solution consultants and contribute reusable assets, accelerators, templates, and best practices across the Dynamics practice.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in ERP consulting, with at least 7 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management solution architecture and pre-sales.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management modules.
- Proven experience leading ERP solution architecture for enterprise digital transformation programs.
- Hands-on experience with Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Cost Accounting, and Asset Management.
- Experience designing ERP integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Dataverse.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot capabilities.
- Experience preparing RFP responses, technical proposals, Statements of Work, project estimates, and solution documentation.
- Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies including Sure Step and Success by Design.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, consulting, and customer engagement abilities.
Required Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (Preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering large-scale global ERP transformation programs.
- Consulting or System Integrator (SI) background.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot for Dynamics 365 and AI-driven business process automation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure AI, and enterprise analytics solutions.
- Experience integrating D365 F&SCM with CRM, ISV applications, EDI platforms, banking systems, and third-party enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, retail, distribution, healthcare, professional services, or public sector industries.
- Strong understanding of cloud migration, ERP modernization, governance, and enterprise architecture.
- Additional Microsoft certifications in Azure, Power Platform, or Dynamics 365.
