Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Data & AI Pre-Sales Architect to lead customer discovery, solution architecture, technical consulting, proposal development, and pre-sales engagements. This individual will work closely with sales teams and client stakeholders to define data modernization strategies, AI roadmaps, and analytics solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer discovery workshops to understand business challenges, data maturity, and AI opportunities.
  • Design end-to-end Data & AI solution architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure, Fabric, Power BI, Azure AI Services, and Azure OpenAI.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data platform, analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions.
  • Support sales teams with technical expertise throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
  • Develop solution proposals, statements of work (SOW), architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and effort estimates.
  • Deliver executive presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concept workshops.
  • Architect modern data platforms including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses, and real-time analytics solutions.
  • Design enterprise reporting and analytics solutions utilizing Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Define AI and Generative AI strategies using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Copilot technologies, and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Recommend data governance, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
  • Lead technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
  • Contribute to Data & AI accelerators, reusable assets, and go-to-market offerings.
  • Stay current with Microsoft’s Data, Analytics, AI, and Copilot product roadmap.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI, or Cloud technologies.
  • At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture, consulting, or pre-sales roles.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Data & AI technologies.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.
  • Experience designing enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architecture.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Services.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration strategies.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and compliance best practices.
  • Experience conducting executive-level presentations and solution demonstrations.
  • Excellent communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and business development skills.

Required Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) – Preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Real-Time Intelligence, and Data Science workloads.
  • Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning and MLOps frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Generative AI solutions.
  • Experience within Microsoft Partner, Consulting, Managed Services, or System Integrator organizations.
  • Industry experience across Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Insurance, or Government sectors.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data governance tools including Microsoft Purview.
  • Additional certifications in AI, Data Science, Azure, or Security.
