Solution

Cambay worked with the customers' IT team and adopted agile methodology in its modernization journey. Cambay initially created a Proof of Concept (POC) to migrate the Java EE apps on Azure App Service for Linux - a managed hosting service for web apps with REST APIs. After completing PoC, we gradually upgraded the company's Spring Boot applications and incrementally retired existing legacy applications.

• Transform Java EE apps to Azure App Service for Linux.
• EclipseLink in-memory cache was swapped with Azure Cache for Redis.
• Copy App data from Oracle database on-premises to Azure SQL Database
• Deploy rSQL Server databases on-premises – no additional licensing fees are required
• Migrate other workloads to Linux VMs
• Setup and tested a single-tenant SaaS cloud solution
